"This is our favorite place to stay when visiting both Death Valley and Mt. Whitney. We have no troubles with bringing our large dog with us. The beds are comfortable, the high-desert scenery is breathtaking, and staff are friendly. The only thing that was a little confusing is that you check in at the Cafe. No trouble, you can order dinner at the same time."

"What a unique way to begin our trip to see the Superbloom in Death Valley! It was so memorable to stay in the "Buffalo TeePee". You feel closer to the land & really hear all the sounds of nature such as owls hooting & the song of the coyotes. It's a comfortable cross between a hint of what it must have been like for the Indians on the prairie to the modern day convenience of waking up in a bed with a toasty electric warmer right in your TeePee. The rustic western-style Olancha Cafe greets you with wonderfully home-cooked meals as well. I highly reccomend this place to all for it's one-of-a-kind experience. "
