"went to death valley near by and AMBOY crater which was 4-5 hours away. good spot to sleep and go. breakfast selection was ok(3/5). "

"This is our favorite place to stay when visiting both Death Valley and Mt. Whitney. We have no troubles with bringing our large dog with us. The beds are comfortable, the high-desert scenery is breathtaking, and staff are friendly. The only thing that was a little confusing is that you check in at the Cafe. No trouble, you can order dinner at the same time."

"Owner was very nice. Got room no problem and room was up to par. Only suggestion is when made did room she should have switched the face towl to new towels jnstead of putting the used one with makeup back on the drying rack."

"Jennifer was an excellent host. responded quickly to questions and gave us our privacy. we had a great time exploring the Lone Pine area and Mt. Whitney was the best. Go see the museum of western films. Had a covey of quail in the front yard most days. House was clean and everything worked fine. Wife wants a gas stove now.mt. Whitney "

"Ultimate serene type get-away. The view was like no other….Alabama Hills and Eastern Sierra.We were fortunate to have snow which added to the beauty of the place. Just stunning. The house was lovely and contained all we needed. Lydia was responsive to our questions, and did check in without prompting. We plan on returning but probably not soon enough!"

"Outstanding view and location. Those 2 things alone would bring me back. It’s less than 5 minutes to walk to a grocery store, taco truck, coffee shop and multiple restaurants. The bed was comfortable. It has a French press, hot plate and toaster oven. No microwave. Enough for a short stay. The bed is comfortable and the place was clean. My only drawback if I had to pick one was the tv is high up compared to the distance from the couch so you’re looking up at sharp angle. But you won’t watch tv anyway because Lone Pine is made for the outdoors enjoyment. I would stay here again. "
