"Perfect getaway cabin on the lake with a deck overlooking Grand Lake. The cabin provides kayaks to fish off of or explore the Lake. Lake Huron has a lot to offer from the scenic water to fossil and rock hunting. Overall a great getaway for relaxing as well as exploring. "

"Beautiful house and lake. We rented a boat from the nearby marina which allowed us to enjoy the sand bar that is a short boat ride away from the dock. This is our second time staying here and while I felt it wasn’t as clean as the last time it is still a superb rental property. "

"This was our second stay at Grand Lake Cozy Cottage. Everything was just as great as our first time there. The cottage feels like a home and is well equipped. We love that they have a ping pong table and nice fire pit with wood. The canoes and kayaks are great too although we didn’t use them this time because the water was a bit rough while we were there. Just like before, we never saw the neighbors. The property is in a very quiet spot. If I were to change one thing, I wish for queen beds instead of the doubles but, since everything was just as described in the listing, the fact that the beds are doubles is no surprise. We manage with that since everything else about the place is great. Thanks for a wonderful stay."

"A great little spot for a weekend getaway! The cabin was very clean, strong internet access, and well stocked with kitchen amenities. The neighbors were quiet and the lake was very clean. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to stay again! "

"If you have a large family group, and are looking for great accommodations on Grand Lake, this is your place. With 6 bedrooms and 3 baths, cottages this size are hard to find. This was our second stay here, having stayed in 2023, as well. Biggest improvement this stay was the blacktopped driveway! Very nice. There is plenty of parking space for 8 cars or more, plus your boat trailer. The grounds are expansive, with plenty of beach and two fire pits. The kayaks and paddle boat got a lot of use. This end of Grand Lake is great for swimming, as it's shallow, and the bottom is smooth without many rocks. There's a very long dock (100 yards) that gets your boat out to sufficiently deep water. The boat launch is just a few hundred yards away. The kitchen is well-equipped and appliances are upscale, and there are TWO refrigerators, which came in handy for our group of nine people. There's a nice gas grill under a gazebo, and a charcoal grill on the deck. Mitch is a responsive and attentive host. If there's any questions or issues, just call him. He's usually nearby, and will respond to whatever issue might arise and take care if it. We enjoyed our stay, and will be back again."
