“Despite the house being described as "very nice and clean," the presence of white dog hairs on the carpet and sofa was a major disappointment. This issue not only affected the appearance of the house, but also caused practical issues such as getting dog hair on our clothes. As someone with an allergy to dog hair, this made my stay uncomfortable and not as enjoyable as it could have been. As long as I am sure that the hair will be cleaned properly, I would go back with my family the next time.”

“We were looking for a base for a few days away and this fitted the bill well. A couple of previous reviews had commented upon general cleanliness and we found a child’s toy under the dining table when we got there and an odd sock behind the sofa, suggesting the cleaning wasn’t particularly thorough. Otherwise the property had all we needed. ”

“Lovely caravan overall. Mostly clean, although we did need to wash up the cutlery and cooking utensils as they were grubby/sticky with some food still on them. The garden is a nice grass area but not secure (had gaps through the hedges and nothing blocking under the caravan where there is a lot of debris). We kept our dog on a lead in the garden to be on the safe side.An outside light at the caravan would have been helpful for when coming back from a late night walk.Beauport Park is a great site……

“We thought Goldings was a lovely cottage in a lovely location but not without its faults, mainly the lighting which was awful, gloomy and only one light for a double bed, which was ridiculously bright ! Would be nice to provide a few coat hangers. We had a dog with us who we kept on a lead but the cottage to our left had a dog which they let wander over to grass in front of ours to do its business, twice this happened in two days,I got the feeling they only cleared it because they saw us, so I……

“Has everything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Only problem was the light coming in early in the morning, may want to take a sleep mask with you if you’re a light sleeper. Other thank that could not fault it.”

“The property and garden are perfect if you have a dog. If you don’t , its clean and not at all doggy! We’ve visited several times and love it. Good proximity to an unspoiled beach and Rye nature reserve.”

“Lovely accommodation. Bed was comfortable. The annexe was quiet. It had everything you could want. Heating was welcomed too. Host was lovely. However, on listing there was no mention that to access the property there were steps. The choice was to go through a gate and walk down seven steps or walk down the entire length of the garden which was sloped downwards towards the property and still go down two steps. I have mobility issues and was using a dog pram to transport my belongings. I……
