Review for El Membrillo Órgiva by Ruralidays
Hi,
we recently stayed at the above villa. We had a lovely holiday but there are a couple of things that I would like to point out.
Negative Things....
1. Only one fan at the property so we had to buy one for €20 which we left in the property.
2. No oven in kitchen.
3. Light in bathroom does not extend to shower area so showers are taken in the dark.
4. No shower holder so bathroom floods and so mop needed every time.
5. Washing machine is very dirty - thick grime inside door and on plastic inside!
6. Mattresses need replacing, the double mattress has a dip in it so i felt like i was sleeping on a mountain!
7. Bedding was dirty - even after washing it on a high heat twice, it had big yellow stains on it! So did the mattress protector and the actual mattress. Also no spare sheets were left in the villa, so only one set of sheets for each bed.
8. Trees around the pool area need cutting back - we scratched ourselves quite a few times trying to get to the pool area from the house.
9. No hangers to hang clothes in wardrobe so we went out and bought some of our own from a random shop in Orgiva.
10. The TV didnt work properly, we would be watching it and then it just turns itself off! We gave up in the end.
11. BBQ area - BBQ racks do not fit the BBQ
Positive Things....
1. Villa was in a lovely area
2. Pool was nice
3. Sun loungers comfortable
4. Nice grey cat we adopted at villa
