This was our first time visiting the Fingerlakes and we had a great time. We typically rent in the Poconos, and we were happy that the Fingerlakes has so much more to do. The house was a great size for our group. The short walk to the water was easy and the dock was great. I wish it would have been warmer when we were there so we really could have enjoyed the water and the pool. My kids used the playground and basketball hoop a lot instead. We did rent a pontoon boat from the local marina and that was a blast. We liked the updated bathroom on the main floor, and the basement seems new as well. The home could use some updated amenities though like new bedding, pillows and towels, and having things like shampoo/conditioner included. We rent a lot and that has become standard elsewhere and for the price of this rental I would have expected those. Minor changes that make a big difference but overall a good trip.

Beautiful Lake Home!

We had a wonderful stay here for our family vacation. Everything was great! House was very clean, pool was amazing and the property was beautiful. Hosts were super helpful and kind! We plan on returning in the future!

Great house with a very nice pool, dock and outdoor furniture.

This was also a good location near state parks, restaurants and numerous vineyards. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lake vacation

Not the most modern and updated,but that's not what we wanted. Great kitchen, lots of space to gather both indoors and out, perfect bedroom situations for our family, and a wonderful view of the lake. Jill was always prompt in responding to questions.

Perfect location for a family!!!!

House was perfect for our growing family. Enjoyed the outside space especially with the pool. We enjoyed sitting at the lake with a fire in the evening. It’s located on a quiet street yet very close to the wineries, breweries etc. we will definitely return!!!!

Friends reunion

Friends gathering to celebrate meeting on trip to Italy. Decided to do a reunion in the Finger Lakes. The house was in a great location and perfect for the 10 of us to reunite. We did a sailing trip on Truelove Schooner on Seneca Lake and did a brewery / winery tour. So many very close to this location. The house was large with many gathering areas, clean and comfortable. Perfect for socializing and catching up. Great fire pit on the lake. Jill was great with answering questions in a timely and complete fashion and very welcoming. We are already talking about going back again. More great memories created on this trip.

Could not pick a better Host or location!

Location was perfect. Everything as promised and more. This was a vacation to reset and relax and we were able to do just. On the lake, incredible sunsets, pool was large and perfect temp, plenty of space for outdoor games. For inclement weather the home is spacious with plenty to do. However, we had 7 days of great weather. Every day your private dock and firepit on the water provided an incredible sunset. Most important, our host Jill was always accomodating and great to communicate with. We travel often and I'm scoring this stay: 5 stars! The Bouchane's

Family reunion

We were a group of 7 adults - cousins & spouses - who came to the Finger Lakes for a reunion. The house was great, and we all had a terrific time. The house is very well suited for a large group, with plenty of bedrooms and ample space to gather and talk. The kitchen was big and bright. We didn’t cook but it had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable and the outdoor space was wonderful. We spent several nights on the dock drinking wine & watching the sunset. Jill was a fabulous host. I had several questions and she responded promptly to every single one! This is the house you want for your group!

Beautiful stay on Seneca Lake!

The house was beautiful and accommodated our family of 11 well! We rented the house from Jill who was wonderful to work with! It was a convenient place to stay attending a family wedding in the area ! The kitchen was beautiful. Enough seating for all and then some! With 2 full baths and 2 half baths, there was never a problem for our family getting ready before the wedding! The master suite was huge and remainiing 4 bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated! I know we would have enjoyed the inground pool and sitting out by the dock by the fire pit at night if we had visited during the summer! Maybe we’ll be back in the future to stay during the summer months to do just that! Great place! Great stay!

Weekend at Seneca Lake

We were a group of 12 girls who needed a big place with a lot of space, beautiful views, and close to wineries for a bachelorette. Jill’s home was perfect for us. Not only was Jill friendly and accommodating, she was quick to respond to any of our questions and provided mostly everything we needed for our weekend. The rooms were spacious and fit all of us comfortably, we had space to gather and for privacy. The dock and lake view were breath taking. We were close to many wineries and restaurants in the area so that was also very convenient. Pool was closed but only because it was cold and early May when we arrived. We had a fantastic time and would love to visit again.

Great place to celebrate my Dad’s 75th birthday and family reunion

This was our first family reunion since COViD and also my Dad’s 75th birthday celebration. Our family rented 2 houses on Lake Seneca, one of them was this house. It was a great place to have a family barbecue, get the kids together with the playard outside and enough space for our family to hang and celebrate. We cooked a lot and also grilled. The hosts were great with communication as well. They were very prompt when the wifi went out and also replaced our bbq gas tank right away when we started bbqing and realized that they was no gas! The pool was too cold for us so we didn’t use it but was a great area to hang out by. Overall a great experience.

Great Weekend at the Finger Lakes!

We had a group of 5 couples who wanted to do a wine trip in the Finger Lakes. We had great accommodations for the group at this great lakefront home! It was even nicer than the pictures showed. Everything was clean and very well kept up. We were able to have dinner together both inside and out. There were plenty of kitchenwares for our dinners and breakfast. We wished we could have used the pool, but didn't bring suits! We enjoyed the chairs that were set up along the lake for sunset and the views were gorgeous. We had a Saturday of wine tasting with a (stretch limo) car to take us all together, which made for a fun day for everyone(nobody had to drive and we could all be in one vehicle!). Highly recommend this property for other groups to enjoy!

A little piece of paradise

The home has a perfect set up for a large family. It's well maintained and the pool and lake area are beautiful. There were 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 children ages 4 - 12. The two bedrooms, living room, and little toy nook in the basement was a great space for the kids. The two bedrooms on the main level had ample space, both with queen size beds. The bedroom upstairs was very large and also had a queen size bed. There is a nice sitting area upstairs as well and a very large closet. One of the bathrooms on the main level had direct access outside which was wonderful when coming in damp from the pool. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need, including two ovens. The island is huge and offers plenty of seating, but we found it very useful for buffet style meals. The dining table was large enough for us to all eat dinner together. There is also plenty of table space out on the patio and on the pool deck for meals outside. There's a very nice laundry room with a utility tub as well. The kids had a great time and all thought it was the best place to stay. These are a few of their comments, "the pool was the best thing ever", "the area around the pool was awesome", "loved that you could go from the pool right into the bathroom", "loved playing cards at the island and being able to see the lake and the pool", "loved the dock for fishing". The patio area was very nice and had two table and chair sets. The pool deck had a table and chair set, plenty of lounge chairs, side tables and umbrellas. The pool had a shallow end that was great for the younger kids and the deep end offering the slide and diving board was a lot of fun for all. Everyone enjoyed the pool and pool area a lot. The little ones enjoyed the playground area also. The front porch with the view of the lake was very relaxing. The lake front was really nice with the fire pit, chairs, and easy beach access for the kayaks. The dock is amazing and was a great place for fishing, but was truly a little piece of paradise when quietly sitting there and especially when enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The owners were wonderful, you knew they were available if you needed anything, yet they weren't intrusive at all. It was very nice renting from them and having them as neighbors for a week. We would/will definitely rent here again. Well maintained large home, great pool, huge surrounding yard, great lake frontage/dock, and gorgeous sunsets. Beautiful!

First family lake trip

Planned a fishing trip for the grandsons and chartered with Roy’s Boys (home owner recommended) and it was perfect. 6 grandkids ranging from 23 months to age 16. Plenty of places to sleep, easy access to the lake, not a lot of traffic, and plenty for the kids to do with games, basketball hoop, swingset, etc. We loved having the huge kitchen and large livingroom. Views from the front porch and dock were perfect. We didn’t use the pool because we were there in early/mid May but I’m sure it would have been used hard by the kids. Loved our family time there.

Loved this property!

We had an amazing time at this property. I wish we stayed an extra day just to hang out on the property. Beautiful, spacious and clean. I would come back immediately. While it was a girls trip, I could see this also being perfect for a family vacation as well. Loved the home and the host was always fast to respond leading up and very accommodating. Highly recommend!!
