This apartment was a wonderful location. Close to the metro so easy to get around Paris, but also far enough out to be a little more quiet. Wonderful local shops and restaurants within a very short walk. I would definitely rebook.

This was an absolutely beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood. We were able to easily walk to and from the metro and local places to eat. We truly loved our stay in this apartment. The photos do not do it justice! This was perfect for our family of four. The host was amazing and gave clear directions for checking in and out. The listing was clear and accurate. I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again on our next visit to Paris.

Very large apt - perfect for 3 days in Paris

Clean, comfortable, very large apt in a family friendly and safe neighborhood of 16th Arrondissement. Photos of apt are accurate. Restaurants, cafes, grocery all within a 5min walk or less. Close to metro entrance for easy commute to Louvre (20min), Gare du Nord (35min).

Christmas Lights in Paris

The unit is located in a very nice neighborhood with access to bars, restaurants, grocery stores and shops. It is actually located in the 16th arrondissement, not where it is advertised on the VRBO website.

Parisian gem in beautiful quiet neighborhood

This apartment is fantastic. It is actually in the 16th not the 8th and is about a 12 minute metro ride to the Champs Elyses and a 30 minute walk to the Trocadero. That being said, it is a beautiful, quiet, clean, and safe neighborhood. The entryway to the apartment and the apartment itself give true Parisian vibes. Added bonus that it had a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a true Paris experience and willing to travel via metro or walk a little bit further to see the big sites.

Property had visible damage. Broken window, exposed to outside elements, hanging glass. WiFi was not working, contacted host and not fixed. Property was double booked and woke up to banging on our door while our children slept and our property had been booked by another family. Was chaotic. Could not open shutters to windows, so dark, no airflow other than the broken window and no a/c. We paid for three nights and only stayed one night.

Great location, but a few issues

This historic property is in a fabulous, safe neighborhood in the 16th Arrondissement. It's a wonderful property, and we highly recommend this location. By staying here, you really get the experience of living as a Parisienne. Now, however, that there are several inaccuracies in the VRBO listing. It is not air-conditioned, but it is a bottom floor unit that is cooler than outside on hot days. It is uncomfortable, however, during a heat wave. It is also not next to the Trocadero nor is it steps away from the Palais Garnier. Listing of what's nearby (with distances) is also inaccurate. Communication with the owner was sparse and incomplete check-in instructions (regarding where to pick up the key) was a stressor - we had to contact the emergency contact via phone (who only speaks French) to get that information.

Great place, but wrong location and no A/C

This comfortable apartment - and quite spacious, was listed in a different neighborhood, which affected our planned itinerary. It was located very far from where we had ticketed events and experiences, which required a much longer transportation allotment. It was listed in the 7th arrondissement “next the Trocadero.” In actuality, it was 1.9 km from the Trocadero, in the 16th. Additionally, AC was listed as a feature of the flat and there wasn’t AC - only 1 fan (so only 1 bedroom could use it). When I complained about the differences in what we experienced and what was listed, the owner brushed it off. It’s a shame, because it is a nice place. I just wish they listed the property accurately.

Not as clean as should be. Stains on rug, curtains, pillows. Belongings of other guests left behind in closet, refrigerator, and bathroom. Found newer towels in the dryer on the last day of our stay. The towels and bedding we used needed upgrading. It is obvious that the owner is not available to properly prepare the place for guests. When we had a power outage we had difficulties communicating with the owner who then was annoyed with us. We were told to contact a gentleman who was also out of town or a lady who assured us she had no authority and would not contact the owner for us. It is a nice apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. However it needs some upgrades and 2 sets of keys as opposed to only one.
