“I enjoyed my stay so much at Crecia that I chose it again when I returned to Ambon on the same trip for more diving. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful, the common areas are clean, drinking water is provided in a big cooler so you can avoid using plastic, and there is a convenience store next door. The chef cooked me a small simple breakfast of toast (in his beloved panini press) and egg with coffee, which was perfect for me. On my first stay, I was in one of larger rooms……

“The hotel is clean and pretty centrally located. Staff have limited English but are very eager to help with any issue. I have left bags here twice as I have travelled around Maluku, using Ambon as a base. A plus is that there’s a supermarket and a cafe on the first floor of the hotel. Only complaint: the air conditioning is feeble and could use an upgrade. ”

“Bloccati ad Ambon ed in camera da un volo riprogrammato dalla compagnia e da un disturbo alimentare, l'hotel si è rivelato un ottimo rifugio. Anche se gli arredi sono un po' datati, la camera era molto confortevole, la colazione varia e abbondante, il ristorante panoramico molto scenografico ed il personale (che parla un ottimo inglese) assolutamente impeccabile. Si va sul sicuro qui.”

“This very simple (and unexpensive) hotel is conveniently located near the University. The room has basic facilities. The place is along the road to airport and a bit noisy on day, but quiet at night - no flight then. When I was there wifi was not operating and I had to get a mobile router. The people (owner and night watchers) are welcoming and do their best to help. ”
