“all as expected and very nice place”

“Despite the house being described as "very nice and clean," the presence of white dog hairs on the carpet and sofa was a major disappointment. This issue not only affected the appearance of the house, but also caused practical issues such as getting dog hair on our clothes. As someone with an allergy to dog hair, this made my stay uncomfortable and not as enjoyable as it could have been. As long as I am sure that the hair will be cleaned properly, I would go back with my family the next time.”

“We were looking for a base for a few days away and this fitted the bill well. A couple of previous reviews had commented upon general cleanliness and we found a child’s toy under the dining table when we got there and an odd sock behind the sofa, suggesting the cleaning wasn’t particularly thorough. “There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience. “Perfect accommodation for a quiet country getaway, with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower & generally very well equipped, clean & maintained to a high standard. We liked the pretty garden. Were slightly concerned on arrival that it appeared to be in the middle of nowhere but were impressed to discover the excellent Jempsons superstore nearby which has lots of local produce & everything you could possibly need. Also, lovely Rye with it's eateries & quirky shops. Will definitely consider a……
