Staff are excellent in customer service and very accommodating. Area is nice and quiet. It is close to city center and safe to walk around.

Very good location. A “heads up” For folks not traveling with a tour bus. Lots of tour buses out front picking up people staying here. Checking in made difficult due to no spaces out front to park car/taxi drop off. Room was very nice. Breakfast had many options. A huge plus: our room was ready at 11am. If you are planning on parking with the Riu, please know that the entrance/exit to their garage is commonly blocked with delivery trucks on Thomas Lane, making it virtually impossible to get in/out of the garage.

Avoca house is a beautiful, well appointed Bed & Breakfast that inspires peace. The hosts are simply WONDERFUL. We felt like we were family -or old friends. Avoca House is impeccable clean and full of small details that make you feel at home, just very pampered. Their breakfast was DELICIOUS, yummy fresh fruit, yoghurts, coffee and pastries. We would stay here anytime if came back. We warmly recommend it!!
