"The toilet seat had urine stains when we first checked in and only God knows how long its been there. The kitchen lacked clean surfaces as did the floor of the entire room when we first got there. Housekeeping was done only on the third day (which we were told was apparently the norm) and greasiness of the floor did improve after the cleaning. Makes me wonder when was the last time the room was cleaned before we entered. Great location during the non-touristy season when much of the island is...

"We loved our time at Genari Beach. The location was even nicer than we expected, Anna the hostess was quick to respond to our needs, and Ancient Olympia was only 45 minutes away. We watched some magnificent sunsets while hanging out with friendly cats. I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5 because of some details that I hope get fixed (because then the place will be awesome!). It needs better signage. "The view from the balcony is stunning to watch the sunrise and the sunset. It is perfectly located between 2 beaches (10 min walk either way) and close enough to wander in to town if you like the tourist things. The owners were so helpful and brought us fresh fruit, veg and eggs regularly, that they grow in the gardens surrounding the property. We’re we’re a family of 4 and there was plenty of space to relax and chill."
