"This hotel was great. Family room was very spacious. Bed and towels were high level. Staff was above and beyond. A couple of spiders around the room I had to deal before sleeping due to the high allergy level my daughter has but normal for a room above a river immersed in nature. We unfortunately expected to try the restaurant on Sunday evening but it closes on Sundays. "I really liked the community around the Hotel. A bit difficult to get transport, but I was offered transport by strangers on several occasions..Thanks to people of Annemasse. The two gentleman at hotel reception were awesome..just the one lady who was so rude and unfriendly...but no stress I am happy about my stay given the cost."
"Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "

"It was off-season so hardly anyone was there. My room was terrific with a mini-sauna on the deck. Staff was very friendly. Easy walk into town with the plenty of dining options (during the season that is). A very nice place and a great stay. "

"Great spot to stay with ample parking! Check in was easy, and the room was great. Not much around within walking distance, but with a car, a quick drive away is a large grocery store and ample restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay! "

Charming lux chalet, views comfort escape, Samoens Valley, peaceful log fire

"This property is located in the heart of the French Alps and has a country feel even though it is only minutes from town. If you enjoy quiet and comfort this is an awesome chalet. We also did one hour day trips to Annecy, Yvoire, and Chamonix. Thank you for sharing your home!"

"Philippe et sa femme ont été très accueillants. Ils nous ont bien aidé. L'appartement a une taille limitée, mais c'est normal pour des vacances de ski. Le chalet a tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Et surtout, c'est très propre. Le linge est récent et les matelas, même sur le canapé lit, sont confortables. Un gros plus du chalet est sa situation, à proximité des remontées mécaniques et de la location de matériel. Hirmentaz est un petit domaine skiable familial, les employés sont sympathiques et serviables avec les enfants. Et pour cette nouvelle année, nous avons eu du soleil et beaucoup de neige fraîche gratuitement !"
