All inclusive: We loved the garden patio outside our room. Location good. Just cross road to lift down and then 10 mins walk to beach via fun park, shops, mini golf and waterpark. Hotel is fine. Rooms are large and clean. View to opposite mountain is just grey stone featuring an abandoned half built derelict complex. But you get used to it. No sun much before 11.30 at hotel but plenty if you go down to beach or water park. Food is fine with enough choices for the week. Can recommend the sangria and Prosecco but not the white wine which is awful. Pool is nice with plenty of sun beds and pool bar serving free drinks and snacks. Can use gym in sister hotel opposite for free, which we did. Very relaxing week in glorious sunshine and pleasant resort

We had a lovely relaxing 8 days. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. Meliá hotels are excellent. We paid extra for The Reserve and it was definitely worth it. The Reserve breakfast and lunch buffet was ideal. The pool was fabulous with Bali beds and lots of loungers. Maivelys was incredible serving drinks, fruit and ice cream. She definitely deserves a special mention and is a true asset to the Paradisus.

Crocodilo Park is a kind of zoo working for animal protection. First family Balser took care of few crocodiles. Then police of environmental protection SEPRONA (Servicio de Protección de la Naturaleza de la Guardia Civil) have placed many other animals to their care. Some are under bad condition cause of neglegtion or even abuse. Nowadays there are many rescued animals for examble parrots, lizards, birds, monkeys, deers and many more. The entrance fee is surprisingly low and the income goes to keep up the park and the animals. We spent enjoyable half a day in the park. We saw crocodile show and two one day old crocodiles. Also we were able to touch one baby crocodile, it´s tummy was so soft. Please visit the park if you are in Gran Canaria. Crocodilo Park situates near airport of Gran Canaria. Drive south the highway GC-1 about 14 km, turn right to GC-100
