“We checked in early and Shamal was working at the counter. She was so present and helpful to us. She upgraded us because they only had us down for one bed, but we needed two and also the pool was out of service, so she put us in a suite. Very helpful.”

“I wait for 15 minutes for check in. Because there was no body there at front desk at 10:30 PM.”

“towel is not clean”

“I showed up and checked in and the first night was OK. There were weird stains on the shower curtain. And a stain on the wall that looked like either blood or poop. The second night our AC unit caught on fire and a part started melting internally. My husband and I were woken up by the carbon monoxide alarm going off. We tried to call the front desk, but no one was on site and the person who answered was unhelpful. Initially, they said they were gonna have someone come and look at it and just……

“Retro Motel was very clean and well maintained. We loved our stay there from the free continental breakfast to the game room that you can relax with your party with. The only small issue was the fridge; it does not get cold enough at the coldest setting. I also want to express my deepest appreciation for the staff to call us immediately for an item we forgot at the motel. We were luckily close enough to come back and retrieve it. Thank you!”

“Rooms need updating. jacuzzi was so dirty I wouldn't get in it. I would not call it breakfast with what they served.”
