Nice reception staff

Beautiful property with great views, but the building is hard to navigate and does not have fitness facilities. Very tasteful decoration and the smooth valet parking is a plus as well, those running it were excellent and very friendly (even charging EV). Would recommend for a ski vacation but would have predeeed closer to town with kids.

Good central location - you can walk to the centre of town, or to the agile easily. The hotel is an older building that they've nicely renovated into a simple, clean environment. The room we booked was good for a family (separate room area for the kids) but the design is very tight on space (limited space for luggage, or passing by). It worked well since we were there for 1 night but could be more challenging if there longer.

An enjoyable stay at the Hotel Lyret during the "off season." The front desk staff were helpful and cheerful. The room offered spectacular views of the surrounding snow-capped hills and Mont Blanc. The hotel features a small spa that can be booked for sauna and steam-room sessions. A small pool and welcoming outdoor area offer skiers and outdoor enthusiasts respite depending on the season. A breakfast area, fireplace, and comfy seating are on offer to guests.

I have mixed feelings about our stay at the White Angel Hotel. While the property has many positives, there were also some notable drawbacks. Pros: The hotel is beautifully located in the middle of the mountains, with stunning views from the rooms, dining area, and pool. The property is well maintained, breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was also very convenient to rent ski equipment and purchase lift tickets directly at the hotel. Cons: The biggest issue was the check-in process and room arrangements. We booked three rooms with king-size beds for a total of eight travelers. According to Expedia, the rooms accommodate three people, and we planned for my husband and me to share the bed with our 8-year-old daughter, which we’ve done on many trips. However, at check-in we were told the rooms were considered “double” and that three people were not allowed to share a king-size bed. Our friends faced the same issue. We were forced to upgrade to “triple” rooms (king bed plus pullout sofa) at an extra cost of €200 per night per room—€2,000 total. Since it was Christmas Eve, we had no alternative. Pool and spa access is not included and costs €20 per adult and €15 per child per visit, which adds up quickly for families. Lastly, the ski-in/ski-out access is narrow and located on a steep slope, which may be difficult for inexperienced skiers.
