The house is filled with big spiders, the entire trip we were killing them. Raspberry vines all over property overgrown on the porch. Couldn't use the lower deck at all. Counter in downstairs kitchen had dead bugs on it. Pink old all over the downstairs shower and black mold on the bathroom window. Door wouldn't stay open. They left a huge glass jar to keep it propped open. Moldy scum in downstairs bathroom floor near toilet. Toilet wobbled like it was above the fall. Walls were busted and fixed with stucco. Downstairs shower is very low. If your over 5 foot yoNot painted. Could not use fire place like property details said you could. Downstairs kitchen sink was backed up. We had to fix it to use it. Downstairs dryer wasn't plugged in so we couldn't put the towels in the dryer to dry. Upper deck door wouldn't open. We had to fix track to get to the deck. Broken furniture in living room and dining room. Chairs had broken legs just propped up at the table. Dirty stove top, coffee pot, and refrigerator. No safety railings or warnings for stepdown living room area. Parts of the living room rug so warn out it it bare matting. Upstairs bathroom sink has very slow drain. Jetted tub doesn't work. Has broken jets and leaks all over floor. Upstairs freezer full of ice so not much usable space. Place has a lot of potential. Owners need to spend the money and fix it correctly. None of us had any complaints. There were plenty of towels, dishes, cups, etc. for our group. The place was clean when we arrived. I hate to repeat other reviews, but the view was fantastic! I highly recommend this property. One thing to be aware of is that all three showers have high step in/outs. So, anyone with mobility issues (like my 95 year old mother) will not able to get in or out of the showers without help. ##### timothy f. Could it use a deep clean? Sure, but I bet your personal home does too. The house was neat and tidy, beds well made, and ready for visitors. There are a few things here and there that could be improved by a handyman, but nothing that made our stay unsafe or troublesome. As noted by others, there are not blinds in the bedrooms. Perhaps the owners could add some simple curtains that would block some of the lights from the shipyard. The layout of this home was perfect for our group of 10 people. Plenty of room to spread out and the teenagers loved having their own "apartment" in the basement. The only odd thing is that the main kitchen does not have a full size refrigerator. Looking back at the listing photos it does show the two smaller refrigerators. We had some difficulty getting them cold enough and it was hard for our grandma to get things in and out being so low to the floor. The only full size fridge is in the basement apartment, but that's why we brought teenagers, to run back and forth for us. The only other bummer is the late check in @4pm & super early checkout @10am. We were offered a late checkout of 2 Pm, but it was $110, not worth it. Overall, this home has the most amazing views and a great layout for families & groups! ##### Lori R. Towels were out away wet so we had to rewash them. Door in main living room broken! Picture windows coated with dust! Bathrooms all full of mold! Was told by Vacasa that it’s calcium build up which it is not! Sheet on trundle bed was filthy with boot marks. Spider webs and dust cover everything in this home. There are so many issues, uncleanliness, and health hazards this home has! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE! MANAGEMENT AND VACASA DO NOT CARE. EMAILED AND CALLED ABOUT 100 TIMES AND NOTHING! This includes the sliding glass door in the family room and several blinds in several rooms. The dishes, stove, and oven were all greasy. The furniture and floors were full of dirt and hair/fur. Some bedding needed to be washed before we could sleep. The property management representatives were all very friendly and totally ineffective. The home was not cleaned well: oven dirty, stand alone freezer iced over, refrigerators needed wiped out, master bedroom tub needed cleaned. The house is in bad need of a handyman to come in and tighten everything. Knobs and handles are lose, closet doors off tracks and won’t shut etc. The property was built in 1968 and needs maintenance badly. The bottom deck was covered in blackberry wines. The beds are foam mattresses and the master room bed needs replacing. It sags in the middle and was very uncomfortable. Would we rerent the property again?
