“Quiet and clean. A bit far from town and store. ”

“The property is located in a beautiful area, however it seems not well maintained and lack of employees. Check in was smooth and the front dest person was very nice. It’s hard to get hold of anyone when you need help. The room has spider webs and spiders, the bathroom has mould on the ceiling and shower curtain was very dirty. We didn’t get to shower because there is no bath towels due to shut down of electricity. Not very pleasant stay!”

“We’ve stayed here multiple times, rooms always clean, never any issues. We were able to watch fireworks from the outside our room.”

“Only reason for taking a star was, bathroom sink in room #32 was slow to drain. Other than that this was an amazing find and would definitely stay again”

“I liked that it sits directly on the Upper Kern River & there is a wonderful private beach. I The lodge staff is very careful to monitor the beach to keep outsiders from using it. There is also free parking and easy access to the rooms. They served coffee every morning in the patio area and there was an ice machine. I also liked the patio area and each room has 2 chairs and a cute large tree stump for a table. The beds were comfortable with cute sheets. The air conditioner worked……
