"The room had a cabin in the woods type feel. Our room had a little porch with a table that we could sit at and watch people play in the river. The sheets were very soft and did not feel like hotel sheets at all. "

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for our 7-year anniversary and my 27th birthday, and it was such a beautiful experience! The location is absolutely stunning — peaceful, serene, and right next to the river, which made it feel like a true escape into nature. If you love the outdoors and tranquility, this is the place for you. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the entire atmosphere of the lodge was calm and rejuvenating. Just a couple things to note: they advertise having TVs, but there wasn’t one in our room. The internet connection was also spotty, and the breakfast options were pretty limited — yogurt, oatmeal, breads, and fruit. Still, those were minor things compared to how relaxing and peaceful our stay was. Would definitely come back again for a quiet getaway!"

"We loved our stay at Keen River House! The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. It’s a two-story house with lots of space for relaxing, with two kitchens, comfy bedrooms, and great energy and atmosphere. The outdoors is a garden comprised of native trees and plants, several places to relax and observe nature, a barbecue grill and a table, and a couple of fishing spots by the river below. The river flow is quite strong at the location, but there are a couple of spots where one can safely get into the water. We really enjoyed our stay, the river, observing animals, and checking out the town and the nearby river banks. Thank you so much! "

"RV was really cute and the property manager was very friendly. Everything was clean and working which is a huge plus considering it was so affordable. Only things I missed was things like hand soap, shampoo, ect. The bed was pretty hard but not the worst I've been on. No TV so if you're wanting to watch something you'll have to bring your own. We didn't have time for TV so it wasn't an issue. Would definitely stay again "

"This is a go-to place for getting away from the city and just relaxing in the nature. This cabin is located in a very clean, nice and tranquil neighborhood. The cabin offers wonderful amenities including board games and an air hockey table which help make the stay wonderful for any family. The bedrooms are sufficiently spacious, yet comfortable and cozy. The cabin offers two TV's: one in the living room and one in a queen bedroom. The check-in and check-out process is easy and simple and the host is very kind and communicative. If you're looking for peace and quiet away from the city, while seeking fun adventure in nature, this cabin is the way to go!"

"Cozy little mountain cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Isabella. Comfortable. Note that the downstairs mini split is operated by a remote. I kept trying to use the wall controls and wondered why it didn’t turn on lol Nice patio for enjoying the view. "

"We had a great time in Kernville. Excellent house we stayed in, couldn't have been nicer! Clen, updated, fully furnished, very refreshing....and great location and view of the mountains. Terrific meals at Ewings, KRBC, El Rio and Cheryl's! Tried fishing, no luck, but still fun. We'll be back and hopefully the property will be available for us!Kent"
