“Great property, wonderful communication with owner. Would stay here again”

“Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing. We received no check-in instructions and had no idea where to go upon arrival. A man washing a car in the driveway (not the host) directed us down a side yard and into a basement unit (never mentioned in the listing). There was no cell service, so we had to stand outside just to contact the host.The keypad lock didn’t work, and after multiple messages, the host told us not to worry because “the caretaker would make sure no one goes in.” This……

“We rented this house in the winter. 8 adults spent 3 nights in the house mostly cooking and playing board games. The house is very spacious and it's on a quiet street. It was plenty warm (in the winter). The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (though it could use a new can opener). The basement rooms were especially quiet at night, which was much appreciated by our light sleepers. It is particularly well equipped for young kids (though there weren't' any in our party).
