It is a reasonably priced hotel in the center of Rome close to the main train station. We ordered a triple room with a king/queen bed and a twin bed but instead we got a triple twin option. We were only there for one night stay so we were fine.

It was a bit disconcerting to find out that the hotel was on the 5th floor of a building. The elevator was old and quite slow. However the hotel itself was quite adequate for my needs. The simple breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent. The staff was very helpful.

It is a small and modest hotel in the 5th floor of an old building. But the location is unbeatable, close to the train station and within walking distance to many attractions in Rome. Wonderful dining options all around.

We only stayed one night and the staff was very nice! The facility is clean, breakfast good and the proximity to the train station was excellent! Pillows are rather thin and uncomfortable but that is a matter of taste. Space was very small for four and the hotel had no common areas. Breakfast was brought to the room but that was tough for the small space.

If you’re looking for a relaxing hotel to shower and see the sites in Rome you should keep scrolling. I requested early check in which was completely ignored. Staff is totally rude. We left the luggage since we could not check in to come find out jewelry was stolen. Breakfast was ok if you like olive sandwich and stale food

We stayed 2 nights. There was a good amount of mold in the bathroom grout in our room on the 1st floor. However, the room was maintained clean otherwise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was a quick walk to Roma Termini train station and metro. Most of the main sites (Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, etc) were walking distance from the hotel and you can easily get to Vatican city by taking the metro from Roma Termini to Cipro. Reception desk is on the 5th floor. The elevator is old, slow, and very small - no more than 2 people (maybe 3 skinny people) could fit in the elevator without luggage. Our hotel key was attached to a very big plastic tag as they didn't want you to take the key with you. You have to drop off the key at the reception desk before going out and collect it at the reception desk upon returning to the hotel. This is inconvenient if your room is on the 1st floor to have to go up to 5th floor reception desk and back down to 1st floor every time you go out and come back. The breakfast was brought up to our room at whatever time we selected each morning. It was the same breakfast both days but it was good.

This hotel is so coveniently located by the Roma Termini station and within walking distance to the colosseum. Staff is super friendly. We stayed in the michaelangelo suite and it was perfect for a family of four. We had two bathrooms! Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay again. This place is a hidden gem. ❤️

Hotel Marcantonio is a little hotel with a lot of advantages: - located one block from Termini (Train and bus terminal) - great selection of restaurants and shops nearby - walking distance to coliseum and other attractions. - Amazing customer service and free breakfast delivered to your room. - Our room fitted four people comfortably. - It is located on 5th floor with stairs and elevator access. My family was really happy with overall experience.

Very good value and location (two blocks from Rome Termini) for a solid 3-star hotel. Breakfast included coffee selection, a pastry, and orange juice delivered to your room or on the go. Staff very helpful as Delta lost our bags, and we had lots of questions as to where to go to get things. Room is quite small, but bed was comfortable and equivalent to American queen-sized. The bathroom was very modern and clearly refurbished. If you are looking for a place just to sleep, near the train station, this is your best bet.

Got stuck in elevator alone at 1am after returning from dinner with my grandson and his lady. I was stopped in between floors. I repeatedly pressed the emergency bell in elevator, no one from hotel came even though they advertise 24/7 staff. My cell phone would not work in the elevator and no phone in elevator. A man, who I assume was another guest, came to my rescue. He tried to call hotel, they did not pick up. He called fire department they came, sirens and all. Four firemen came and eventually got me out of the elevator. Fire department also said they tried to call front desk and no pick up. Once I was out it was 2am. I booked through Expedia, so I called them, they also tried to call hotel and no one picked up.I emailed the hotel once back in my room, (no phones in room to call front desk) got no response from hotel, even the next day. I left at 6:30 or 7 am and saw the hotel desk clerk and he never apologized or acknowledged me being stuck in elevator, or offer to help me with my bags down the stairs or anything. Do not stay here.

This hotel was gross. The room we stayed in was dirty, moldy and just in need of some TLC. Staff were nice but the only thing going for this hotel was how close it was to the station otherwise this was the most terrible hotel room I think I have ever stayed in. Not sure how it got the very good rating.

Hotel Marcantonio - wifi very good - Location close to station - No lobby - Front desk was in the 5th floor and our room was in the 1st - Breakfast is just coffee and croissant which they bring to ur room - You have to leave the key when leaving for the day, it’s a hassle since it’s in the 5th floor - Elevator (very old kind) is only for 2 person plus luggage - Bed sheet still have the colored kind, most hotels have the white comforter/duvet which feels more clean - No bottled shampoo inside shower which most European hotels I’ve been too has some. - No coffee maker - Has mini fridge - And has AC!!!
