“Overall the place was nice for a tiny home. It was a bit disappointing that there was a property so close to the accomodation. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. I would also suggest to the owner to put the Jiffy fire lighters outside as the accomodation smelt like fuel when we arrived. Some of the electrics were not working as well. Be prepared to cut up all of your firewood into tiny slithers as that is all that you will manage to fit into the fireplace. All in all a pretty……

“We loved our stay at Lakeside Retreat - perfect location, clean, very comfortable and spacious, very well equipped kitchen and we felt quite "at home" in the house. Fiona and Richard are great hosts and easy to communicate with, check-in/out is very easy & there is no need to fuss with keys etc! Would love to return, Nagambie is a wonderful area and we enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the restaurant at Tahbilk Winery. 5 Stars to Lakeside Retreat from us (4 Adults - 2 sisters and our husbands who……

“What an amazing place to stay. We were able to take our dog with us. Keren is a wonderful host that provides the right amount of service and privacy. Highly recommend. The bed was so comfy, clean with beautiful linen. Everything was spotless. Great kitchen and BBQ for meals. The pool was a great addition. Just sorry we hadn't booked for longer. Definitely will next time. ”

“Great property.. enough space for 3 couples and 4 children. Pool was excellent, two fridges was handy for us, house was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the view of the river from the house and enjoyed a few drinks and food on the table and chairs under the shady trees.. beautiful countryside. Close to Melbourne but feels like you’re far away! (In a good way!) The owners were responsive and able to help with anything we needed. Highly recommend. Thanks for the stay. ”
