"We stayed here to visit the small where my ancestors were from. The Chateau was very charming and comfortable. James and Celine were wonderful hosts and so helpful- our trains were inconvenient and James kindly gave us a ride to the town and next train station. The breakfast was very good. The town of Montlouis itself is very small with not much to see but James reccomended nearby Ambois has castles and many things see and do. "

"What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! "

First of all it was difficult to find(google maps takes you to an apartment block!) and if looking fir a golf course as in a previous review states, the nearest one is 3miled away! "Hemos pasado unos dias de vacaciones en el lugar perfecto para ver los castillos del valle del Loira. El apartamento está muy bien equipado y todo está muy limpio y nuevo, al lado de la casa de los propietarios en un enclave muy tranquilo. "Beautiful hotel with the best grounds for relaxing, spa is good, can't comment on the food. Service was wonderful from all the staff, convenient location being a short stroll to the nearest tram stop that takes you into town and runs regularly all day, highly recommend to get away from the world!
