“The property was within driving range for our planned activities. Our problem had to do with the family above us. There were 3 children that stomped or marched from 6:15 am to 11:00 pm. Multiple visits to the room was made by the staff, nothing helped.”

“The pictures of the exterior of the building were not quite what it looked like in person. You can definitely tell there has been some time that has passed since taken. The room was clean but had an odor that may have been a stronger smelling cleaner to remove odors. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was decent. The place to eat looked much larger in the pictures, but in person, much less space.”

“Across the street from THE ARK ENCOUNTER. Very convenient! Our first impression of the MOTEL was not good. A closed restaurant that was fenced up shared their parking lot. However, the room was good, it had a Kureg. The morning breakfast was decent; cereals, breads, juices, coffee, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Staff was really nice. We stayed 3 nights, not realizing THE CREATION MUESUM was a 45 min drive. We might have just stayed one night. But again, the staff was very nice and they were……

“Wonderful and cozy little historic hotel. I was there two nights, on a business trip. Really great!!! Marsha, the owner, is very nice!!!! Will for sure stay here again.”

“Air-conditioning and room did not work. Apparently it was repaired two days before? Was moved to a different room finally very late with two young children. Had to sleep on a cot/couch. Manager was extremely rude, and embarrassed my wife in front of a whole room full of people including our grandchildren in the morning and no compensation was given. This hotel is strategically located at the Ark Encounter and I would recommend avoiding it and travelling to have a better stay.”

“I arrived at 12:15 am to check in. No one was there!!!! I called the telephone # 5 times and no one answered!!! I had already paid for the room on line so I asked a lady where the desk clerk was. She said she may be in the restroom. I continued to wait and 30 minutes passed no desk clerk. The manager of the Red Roof told another employee to check me in after 45 minutes had passed. People about 20-30 years old were hanging outside and in lobby. They were respectful but there was an Oder of……
