Un soggiorno tra gli ulivi

Buon giorno, villa Guarnaschelli è una bella dimora al confine di Firenze, immersa tra bellissimi uliveti sulle colline. Il servizio è l'accoglienza fanno davvero sentire a casa. Nel bel giardino ci si può rilassare leggendo un libro ma anche lavorando all'ombra degli alberi, o immergendosi nella piccola piscina. Un'esperienza da ripetere.

Renovated old farm house into a hotel. Picturesque location amongst hills and fields of olive trees but not so easy to find even with our Garmin GPS. Out of the way if planning to visit Florence. The lady at reception was awesome for check-in very polite and friendly. Another lady in the morning in halls very rude - checkout was at 11am and she knocked on our door at 10:50 telling us that we needed to leave right away that she had to get the room ready for guests arriving in the afternoon. We told her we would be out by 11 but she wasn't too happy.

uma boa surpresa!

Estávamos viajando de carro, então este hotel, que fica em Scandicci (fora da área central de Florença) foi a escolha ideal. Lugar tranquilo que está localizado a 5 min de carro da estação do tram que leva a Florença. É como um agriturismo, em cima de uma colina. A área do hotel é lindíssima, produzem para venda óleo de oliva e mel e possui oliveiras e alguns animais como pôneis e coelhos. Até o cachorro que fica na propriedade (Togo!) é muito simpático! Os quartos são limpos e amplos, a decoração é uma graça, nosso quarto tinha vista para colina. O staff é muito simpático principalmente a Adriana que nos atendeu e passou todas informações que precisávamos de uma forma impecável. Gostamos tanto que ficamos uma noite a mais.

Our road trip to Pompeii

The hotel is difficult to find and our satnav struggled. It is off the beaten track in a beautiful setting. We stayed in the hotel on the way to Pompeii and on the return trip. The views from the hotel are stunning. It is in a lovely area. The motorway is quite close and the noise of the traffic can be heard from the rooms. The only meal available is a typical French breakfast and that is served in a charming restaurant.
