"We spent Xmas and New Years at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. This is an ideal place to completely unwind and relax. The forest is 2 minutes away. We were lucky we had snow, and we took winter walks in the forest. The cabin is cozy and had lots lots of character. Thre are fantastic views of the forest from the upstairs balcony. The balcony was also ideal to see in all the New Year's Eve fireworks. Udo and his family were very welcoming. Thank you we had a fantastic time at the cabin."

"Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus liegt am Berg und sehr ruhig.Es ist zwar noch einiges zu machen am und im Haus, aber die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich. Die "Terrasse" war zwar noch nicht fertig, aber wir konnten draussen sitzen und grillen. Ein Stück den Berg rauf ist ein Fleischer, bei dem man gute Wurst und auch Brötchen bekommt ."

"Wij waren met 2 personen en hebben het appartement gebruikt als uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan de biathlon in Oberhof. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam, hadden zelfs informatie verzameld over de mogelijkheden om bij het stadion te komen. Het bed is prima (prio 1), de overige voorzieningen ook dik in orde. Het appartement is netjes en schoon. Wir haben die Möglichkeiten der Umgebung genossen, sind gewandert und haben Städte besucht. Es gibt gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, eine Rewe und Netto Markt, 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Vor dem Haus kann man nicht parken, aber eine Minute zu Fuß entfernt.Wir können die Unterkunft empfehlen."

"Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber funktionierte einwandfrei, wir haben uns zwar nicht persönlich kennengelernt aber per Telefon war das kein Problem. Schön gelegene Unterkunft, sauber und außer einem Gefrierteil um unsere Kühlakkus für die Rückreise einzufrieren fehlte nichts. Jedoch würde ich über die Agentur nicht mehr buchen da die Kommunikation damit gar nicht funktioniert."

Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."
