"Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft am Ortsrand gelegen. In nur wenigen Gehminuten ist man im Wald und kann dort auf dem Lernpfad sogar noch etwas lernen. Wie haben denn Code dann gehen 12 Uhr bekommen, was aber leider zu spät war. Der Whirlpool war grün und somit nicht zu benutzen. Es waren viele Kleinigkeiten. "Lage und Umgebung sehr erholsam.Das Ferienhaus wurde für bis zu 6 Personen ausgeschrieben. Wir waren 5 und es war wesentlich zu klein für diese Zahl ebenso die Einrichtung. "

Die Küche mehr als ausreichend bestückt mit Backofen, Herd, Mikrowelle Kaffeemaschine etc…das Bett echt bequem. Wir waren wirklich positiv überrascht. Check in und out ohne Probleme. Die Kommunikation war ebenso unproblematisch. Parken direkt vor dem Haus. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich und freuen uns schon auf ein wiederkehren :) "

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."

The hotel is very well run, and the staff was super helpful and friendly (and English speaking). Picturesque property, best schnitzel I had in Germany, and wonderful quiet. I left feeling calmed and recharged. A true gem, and I couldn’t recommend it more."
