About this property

House right on the beach, sleeps 6–7

  • We are renting a recently renovated 1950s-style vacation home, located right on the Corniche and overlooking the sea.
Ideally located between downtown and the beaches, a 5-minute walk from shops and the nearest beach (Crique de l'Anau), a 10-minute walk from the harbor and downtown, with a bus stop right outside the house.
75 m² of living space: on the first floor, a living/dining room that opens onto the terrace, a master bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a toilet.
Upstairs, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds.
The large, furnished terrace features a shower area for when you return from the beach.
It opens onto a large, enclosed garden with trees, covering 1,000 m².
There are two possible entrances: one at the top on Rue Jean Vilar, and one at the bottom on Route de la Corniche. At the top, there’s parking for two cars, but you can also park near the lower entrance.

Sète is a quintessential town: it’s known as “the unique one,” and you can enjoy the charm of a historic town while staying completely peaceful and secluded, even in the height of summer!
Things to see and discover in Sète:
Its long beach of fine sand stretching all the way to Marseillan and its small coves in the La Corniche neighborhood
Quaint neighborhoods (Pointe Courte, Quartier Haut, Pont Levis, fishing port…) with numerous restaurants.
Various festivals (jazz, Latin, Fernande, “Voies Vives,” etc.)
Museums and exhibitions (Paul Valéry, Brassens, MIAM, etc.)
    Traditional festivals featuring water jousting,
Stopover in Sète for Easter, featuring historic tall ships.
    And more…
In August, the Grand Festival of Saint Louis, with its jousting tournaments and other water sports, remains the highlight of the year and sets the pace of life for the people of Sète.
With dozens of street performances and waterfront bars (bodegas) open late into the night, the city comes alive with a nonstop, wild, and festive atmosphere around the Cadre Royal, as well as in the streets and public squares where visitors mingle with the locals—an event not to be missed!!

    Nearby attractions:
Oyster farms on the Thau Lagoon (Bouzigues, Mèze, etc.)
Numerous options for walks and tours: Valmagne Abbey, St. Guilhem-le-Désert, the Grotte des Demoiselles, Pézenas (Molière’s hometown)

We do not provide sheets or linens, unless you specifically request them for an additional fee.
    Pets welcome (fenced property)
Minimum one-week rental, Saturday through Saturday!
