“They appear to be updating and sprucing things up, though not everything is complete. As expected for the location and price. Nice to have another bedroom for the kids. Options for dining, grocery and gas within walking distance. Deck overlooking the river is nice.”

“I was very disappointed during my stay at this hotel. When we checked in, the front desk receptionist had a very poor service attitude. It was already 11:30 pm when we arrived at the hotel, and we wanted to check in and rest immediately. However, the room arranged by the front desk was not the one I had originally booked. They assigned me to room 115, which had a bad smell and a very dirty bathroom. I said you didn't want that room, but the front desk receptionist said there were no other rooms……

“The desk clerk, Billy at check in was great except that we requested an ADA room and the room we got was not even close to ADA. One of the guests in this stay could not shower for the 3 days we were there. The first morning there we saw the housekeeping staff in the hall way as we came out of our room. Standing there I tipped them $5.00 to clean our room. Got back to the room that evening and the room had not been serviced. The next morning I requested at the front desk that our room be……

“The hotel was under construction but it was not shared prior to check in. The hallways smelled very strongly of paint and the outside patio by the pool was filthy. The staff were only moderately helpful.”
