I was pleasantly surprised. I frequent Ashland regularly but don't always stay. I would stay here again. The gym is comical because it has as many plush chairs and couches as workout equipment. I wouldn't even change it.

Our first stay. We found the property well-located for activities in downtown Ashland with adequate safe parking. The staff was available without being intrusive. Ryan was particularly helpful. Our room was quiet, clean and furnished as advertised, no surprises. One of the most organized and comfortable (included) breakfast options we've had– simple, but with a nice range of options and, again, clean. The grounds are well-maintained and there is easy on/off I-5 access. (one note: the property has no elevator, so if this is a concern, would recommend contacting the desk in advance for assistance in planning)

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. My room was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast. The location is very convenient, right off I-5 and 10 minutes from downtown. I ate dinner in the restaurant next door twice and enjoyed the meal both times. I will definitely stay here again!!

While the decor might seem a little dated, everything about our stay was exceptional. The room was comfortable and functional ( double sinks!) and little things like a working bathroom fan add up to a nice experience. The giant outdoor hot tub with a view of the mountains was a relaxing way to end the day.

Be warned anyone with mobility issues: THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. We checked into our 2nd floor room in the afternoon. Check in was fine, front desk staff gave very helpful suggestions about getting around town and the parking situation in downtown. I laid down to take a nap while my husband went out to explore a bit. I was shocked that the door blew wide open and would not latch. We called down and they sent someone up to show us a "trick". We were told the wood in our section of rooms has warped to the point the doors do not latch unless you "slam" your palm down on the interior handle in order to "pop out" the latching mechanism. Breakfast was good and kept well stocked. Honestly, the staff was the best part of the stay. They need to invest in elevators and maintenance.

The front desk staff is really helpful and responsive. Their pet friendly rooms are great value and are always impeccably clean. We stop here twice a year on our long road trips we like it so much.

3 miles outside of town, next to the interstate. Not terribly convenient to in-town events, but fine for regional recreation. They have one of the most minimal breakfasts I have ever seen in a hotel like this. Rooms were a bit dated, but clean. pillows and beds comfortable. Towels quite thin, but plentiful.
