“Communication with the host was great! Easily accessed the property, everything was clean and ready to go, and the place is cooler than the other side of the pillow. The house is directly under the landing path for the local airport but there's a noise machine in the bedroom that cancelled out all of the outside noise making sleeping a breeze. “The house was neat and clean. although, I was told a couple hours before I got there that I couldn’t check in until 4 even though VRBO stated 3. They stated it was because the previous people left late. I drove 5 hours and really didn’t have anywhere I could waste my time. Also, bedrooms had flashing lights outside and we suggested room darkening shades.”

The noise from the AC would turn on and off throughout the night, the hide a bed that our son slept on wasn’t sturdy and the couch wasn’t comfort for watching TV or even visiting. “I love the concept of Eric's Retreat! The property manager was very helpful and was relatively quick to respond. The only issue I had was the smell of our room. It smelled like overripe oranges and was cloying. I also found a reddish brown tadpole bug in the bathroom. When I alerted the management about it, they said they would be on the look out as they cleaned the room. The bed was very comfortable. This was very close to many places we wanted to go to in this area. ”

"Everything is good except for not notifying us there is a 24 hours open Gym next to our room. And the noise comes from the Gym is sooo loud since 6am. I called the front desk, and the lady obviously know that the noise will affect the rooms close to the gym. And she was quite nice to promise to send someone to stop it. But never stops actually. And the next day, I went to the front desk, expressing my disappointment about this. She talked about the rights to use the GYM while I talked about the service and notification ahead about the possible gym noises. And the attitude from her was really bad. This is a really bad experience. "
