Overall, the place was okay, but it could really use a deep clean from top to bottom. There was a faint smell of mold and cigarette smoke, and unfortunately, the strong smoke odor from the stairwell also made its way into the apartment. “Wir haben 10 schöne Tage in dem kleinen, feinen Steinhäuschen mit wunderbarem Meer- und Ätnablick verbracht. Die Lage ist toll, es ist hübsch eingerichtet und es ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Wir haben Ausflüge in alle Richtungen unternommen. Es gibt einen Bahnhof mit Verbindung nach Catania, Syrakus, Messina, Taormina. Im kleinen Ort Carruba ist alles vorhanden, was man zum täglichen Leben braucht, Bäcker, Lebensmittelläden, Pizzeria und eine nette Bar. Die Badestrände von Riposto und Cottone……

“Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Catania. Die Kommunikation war schon im Vorfeld sehr angenehm. Dadurch konnten wir uns schon von Anfang an freuen auf einen unkomplizierten Urlaub. Auch der geplante Ausflug auf den Ätna hat ganz nach unseren Vorstellungen geklappt und war sehr spannend und informativ.
