“We had a great stay. We had my 84 year old father and mother and three adult children and spouses and 2 adult grandkids with their spouses. The house was plenty big enough and the walk to the dock was nice and flat. We stayed in June during a massive heatwave in the upper 90s each day. We would like to come back in the fall. The kitchen was stocked with everthing imaginable and loads of china. My mother was so excited. We ate on different china for each meal. ”

“Still Waters is a rustic and very beautiful cabin on a secluded inlet. We thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing and engaging in water sports. Communication with the hosts was superb! The boat ramp was 5-10 min. by water and by car. The marina was a 20 min. boat ride or 10 min. car ride and they were fantastic to work with and very accommodating.Southern Boat Works was very friendly and reliable for boat repair and were kind enough to see us immediately since we were on vacation. “That’s right every morning coffee/tea on front porch. Very peaceful , the traffic was sporadic which was NOT an issue. Short drive to Kerr Lake and shorter drive to Dollar General. There’s a nee Mexican restaurant that was very good and service was fast . It opened July 2025 and our party of ten had no complaints. Hope you get a chance to see the sunset and sunrise the next day. The kitchen is fully equipped with drip coffee machine, mixers,place settings, dishes,toaster and dishwasher. ……

“We had a wonderful week of relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. We were able to fish from the boat dock and go out on our boat. We walked and rode the trails that lead down to the water from the house. There were families of deer that would come out into the yard and paths which led to the water. It was a great experience! “This home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation and the photos don’t do it justice! The view from the back deck is absolutely breathtaking. The dock was big enough to tie up our 2 jet skis, fish and relax for our whole family. The home provided plenty of activities to do from cornhole to kayaking and everyone slept comfortably. Host is very friendly, quick to respond and accommodating. Highly recommended this for your next family vacay. We will definitely be back! ”

“Our stay at Buggs Island/Kerr Lake was nothing short of amazing! The house fit our families needs perfectly. The kids loved the air hockey table downstairs. The dock was very nice and had a great place to dock our boat and area for the kids to jump off the dock and swim. The neighbors were very friendly. “The house was fantastic. The temps during iur stay where higher than normal so it was nice to have things like the theater and billards to help entertain. The house was very spacious and in a private location. Only complaint was lack of cell signal, not the property owners fault. The wifi help compensate that though. As well as allowed me to work from the home office a few days to extend our vacation. Alex was great to work with it getting everything scheduled. As well as promptly responded to……
