"We had a lovely stay at the cabin! The host was very friendly and responsive, and the place was spotless and cozy. The only thing we’d note is that the bed was a bit too soft for our comfort — but everything else was great. Would still recommend for a peaceful getaway! :)"

"BAIT AND SWITCH! From New Sweet Little Cabin, to a room in the basement! Except for a text shortly before my arrival, the host, Regina, did not communicate that there had been a change. I arrived expecting to be in my own private cabin. Instead I was led through the hosts house, down some stairs to a room in her basement. This was totally unacceptable. I was left scrambling for alternative accommodations at 9:30PM during high travel season in Alaska. Regina blamed the agency which is nonsense,...

"Cute, private small house, well furnished. Could have used a fan as there is no breeze at night, was sort of hot.I loved the private setting and never heard any other guests nearby. Nice to have a deck, firepit and a reason to be outside!"

"This was a great spot to be off the beaten path, and a good place to chill after hiking and fishing. It is in a nice rural setting but still fairly close to amenities. Having coffee available for us was nice. There are just some basic cooking supplies, but we didn’t plan on cooking much anyway. Host was super responsive, and she had great communication with us before and during our stay!"

"Great cabin in the woods, super close to Talkeetna. I loved how close it was. Talkeetna was our favorite town. The bunkhouse was great for our boys, the fire pit with wood was also wonderful! I also hiked one of the trails and they provided bear spray, which was awesome!!!! "

"What an amazing property! Although checking in during the Montana Creek wildfires, we were assured we were safe. We enjoyed watching the fire fighters ;). My only regret was not spending more time at this stop! It was like living in a storybook. Maybe add outside chairs on the porches? "
