"This property was cozy and quaint and perfect for our needs to visit with family. It was perfectly pet friendly for our dog. The only setback was that the jacuzzi filter was not clean and some work had to go into cleaning it in order to use the jacuzzi. All in all we had a wonderful time at this quaint and cozy cottage."

"This is one of the most peaceful and beautifully decorated loft we have ever stayed in. The view of the lake is lovely, as is the seating area on their dock and around the fire pit. The owners were responsive, kind and helpful. They even started a fire for us to enjoy one evening and made their kayaks available for us to use during our stay. We will most definitely be back often. "

"This house was great for our girls weekend! A lot of bunk beds, but we did our best to make it work. Some of our group are older women and it was not safe for them to adventure to a top metal bunk bed, but we were aware of that when we booked. Not a negative, just something to consider. The lake is very "mushy" and not really swim worthy, but a nice view! The indoor pool is AMAZING! The host is wonderful, very responsive and understanding. Tip: Ask for the FULL list of house rules prior to booking to ensure all the rules fit your group needs. Would stay again, but unfortunately the price has almost doubled since we booked last year. Would be perfect for families with kids!!! "

"Dion and Rod are great hosts! They're very attentive and quick to help with any questions we had. They even gave us produce from their garden. They helped with getting the kids set out on kayaks, we were able to buy overflowing wheelbarrows full of good campfire wood, outside games were provided for us, we were able to use their dryer when our tent decided to let the rain soak our daughters duffle bag full of clothes, and they showed us how to manage the ac. We were allowed to have a tent by us which was very nice, but i recommend moving it every couple of days because I'm pretty sure we killed the grass where ours was. The area is very quiet, very peaceful and kind neighborhood. The camper slept comfortably for our family of five. Dion and Rod were available to take us on a tour on the lakes. We even stopped to let the kids swim. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you Dion and Rod for the generous hospitality. Sorry for the late review ;)"

"The room was wonderful and hotel was great. Only thing was entrance way was recently damaged due to construction vehicle, not their fault. Staff was exceptional! Very helpful even with restaurant ideas and locations. Everything was very smooth. Will most definitely be staying here again! Wanted to thank Ashton the evening desk staff! They made my night and check in after a ling day smooth and exceedingly easy!! "

"The location on the river is amazing. Even better than we expected. Pricing is on point. We found it very relaxing in the mornings to sit out front and have a coffee. In the afternoons it was fun to swim and watch the boats go by. We did some fishing and caught some bluegill and perch.The host were very friendly and had great communication. I would give the hosts & rental 10 stars if I could but it only allows me to give 5!"

"Wonderful experience for a 3 family getaway (13 people & dog). A lot of little touches make the home very inviting. House is located conveniently near a grocery store and a few restaurants. We rented a boat and went to the dockside ice cream shop which was awesome... Definitely hard to beat the experience of watching a sunset while eating ice cream on a boat. Lots of indoor games available, but thankfully the weather was great so we got to enjoy kayaking, the paddle boat and the pontoon. We caught some bluegill, crappie, and 2 catfish right off the dock. Went around the lake and also caught some nice largemouth bass. Great house and experience and would love to come back."

"My two friends and I stayed at Crystal Rapids Retreat to celebrate our “mid-life” milestone birthdays. We wanted to ditch the city to better connect with each other and nature, which we did ALL weekend. From watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on the deck… to traversing the Muskegon River in our kayaks… to grilling out for dinner and laughing around the fire pit, there was no shortage of peace and enjoyment. The property is well-maintained, supplies are aplenty, and the neighbors are very kind. This property is an affordable, hidden gem that won’t disappoint!"

"It was a great all inclusive getaway. We never left the 4 days we were there. I was very impressed with the amount of gates used. This made the young mom’s feel more comfortable knowing their kids were safe. The beach was smaller than expected but still good. Dock was in an awkward spot so we never used it."
