St. Mawes Castle is a worthwhile place to begin discovering Truro. This history-filled fortress is recommended by fellow travelers, but it isn't the only spot to see here. Set aside time for other sights like Maenporth Beach, Falmouth University, and Gyllyngvase Beach to really experience what the area has to offer.
