Say a prayer, bow your head and maybe even light a candle in St. Nicholas Cathedral. This splendid religious building may not always be open, so check ahead for hours if you'd like to go inside.
Located in San Nicola, this principal church is well worth a visit. But you'll find tons more to see in this area. Cliniche Universitarie, Universita degli Studi di Sassari - Facoltà di Medicina, and Piazza d'Italia aren't too far away from St. Nicholas Cathedral.
