"We wanted a cost-effective place to stay the night as our ferry arrived late in Liepaja. We found parking right behind the hotel, front desk was manned by an English-speaking young lady, so check-in was fuss-free. The family room was very large, generally clean, but well-worn (furniture had chips off the edges, some scratches on wall, etc). Walls were thin - we could hear people moving in the corridors for their early check-outs. Also the elevator broke down when we wanted to check-out, so we had to carry the luggage down by ourselves."
