Cozy Vacation Getaway and Hunter's Paradise

Tucked in a secluded cove, our log cabin in Morgan County has privacy with a view that few others can surpass. One mile North of Chesterhill, OH, close to Athens and McConnelsville. Luxury accommodations in a peaceful setting, with 32 acres to roam. Hiking, bird watching, relaxation and fresh country air are just a few of the benefits. Private bedroom and loft bedroom, both with queen beds. Get away from the busyness and listen to the quiet, absorb the peace. Our Cottage is on the same property, but there is plenty of space for you to enjoy your privacy.

You will love Antler Ridge Cabin for a romantic weekend or a week of vacation with your family. All the amenities of home in a quiet peaceful setting will help relieve stress and give you a new appreciation for the Creator and the created.

The kitchen is fully furnished with stove, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee maker, crockpot, pots and pans, dishes, cups, flatware, utensils, etc. Iron and small ironing board.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash dishes you used. Place trash in barrel on porch or take it to the box by the road.
Turn Thermostat to 64 or in summer turn the AC to 78 degrees
Make sure propane is turned off on the grill and clean the grate if you used it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Before you leave, please wash dirty dishes and place them in cupboards. All trash and leave it in the trash can outside. Make sure the lid is locked.
Turn the thermostat to 62 degrees. AC to 76 in summer. We would be delighted if you would start a load of laundry, to speed up our cleaning time.

Wonderful Stay

My wife and I had a wonderful time here! We spent a lot of time exploring the surrounding area and the Hocking Hills park. Everything was amazing, and it made for a great anniversary trip.

Great Cabin and Property

Perfect little cottage in the country!

We loved staying here! It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Out of the way of all the crowds closer to the Hocking Hills area but still within a close enough distance to visit the park and Athens. The place was immaculate and had everything we could need for our stay there. We hope to come back again!

Weekend away

worked on writing and recording music, so the main thing was seclusion and quiet and nice clean place. It was very clean and comfortable and spacious. It was nice just to sit outside and look at the hills and good to see so many stars at night.

Wonderful Stay in A Truly Clean & Enjoyable Cabin

My wife, 11 year old grandson and I had a great time at this cabin. The description is very accurate re: location, layout, amenities, etc. The cabin is extremely clean and maintained as well furnished. Thorough customer service was constantly provided. The info book has lots of helpful data about places to go and things to do. The setting is quiet and peaceful. Our grandson and I hiked all the trails. We would recommend this property to family and friends. We enjoyed Burr Oak State Park as well as seeing many covered bridges in the area.

Cabin Getaway

This beautiful little cabin was clean and supplied well with everything you need for the kitchen & bathroom. Towels, toiletries and linens were also supplied. The quilts and cotton sheets were very soft and clean. Dish soaps, laundry detergents & spray cleaners also were supplied. The one a/c wall unit kept the main living area very cool. We had beautiful weather! Upper 40’s, low 50’s at night so we opened up the windows for a nice cool sleep. Beautiful scenery! The property is very well maintained with free WiFi, one smart tv, reclining sofa’s and a rocker recliner.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The first night we noticed we didn’t have any water so we contacted the owners and they were quick to send someone out. The second cabin on the property lost water as well. We found out the city had a water line bust which cause our cabin to loose water. Luckily it was 10pm and by the time we woke up the next morning the water was back on. The cabin was great. Lady bugs were out in full force but it was fine. Walked the property and saw lots of deer in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely come back.

Secluded Cabin in S-E Ohio

My wife and I booked this cabin for a brief retreat from the city to plan for our small business and relax and enjoy each others company. We found the perfect spot for both. This cabin is located off SR337 in Morgan County. We were pleasantly impressed upon arriving that the property looked very new and was well maintained. The cabin itself was perfect. Four adults could easily stay there; but if was quite romantic for this couple. The kitchen was well appointed. The bathroom large and the bed was super comfortable. The entire place was spotless. We enjoyed cooking out and dining on the lovely porch overlooking the property. We did some sightseeing and visited McConnellsville for the Morgan County Heritage Days. We also would recommend the Triple Nickel Restaurant in town. Celesta and Lee were perfect hosts. We hope to return again next year. Brian & Kathy Cleveland, Ohio

This cabin is the perfect getaway to find some peace. The cabin sits among 32 beautiful acres that one can freely explore. They also allow pets. My husband and our two pets enjoyed walking the property among the trees and open fields. A small deer walked up to the cabin at dusk, then exited into the woods. We watched beautiful butterflies and heard birds singing. The cabin was equipped with everything one could possibly need or want. It was also exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Country Paradise

Long weekend stay. Home is comfortable and very clean. If you want to cook they are stocked with everything you would need. The property is lovely. It is very peaceful. Bird watchers will love all the birds. My biggest surprise was a cat bird that landed on the porch and hung out with me for awhile.The owners are amazing and flexible when they are able to be.
