“Comfortable and a relatively easy walk from the train station. Convenient to the tram and by car also. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Very nice rooms- only minor complaint was the use of very scented soap and shampoo. All in all very nice hotel.”

“Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square.”

“Das Hotel lag für uns sehr günstig, denn wir hatten Fahrräder dabei. Der Service in der Rezeption war sehr gut, sehr freundlich und kompetent mit nützlichen Hinweisen. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und es gab viel frische Esswaren incl Obst. Die Reinigung des Zimmers erfolgte ebenfalls sehr gut. Positiv hervorzuheben ist auch die Sauna im 5. Stock sowie die tollen Ruheräumlichkeiten im Innen- und Außenbereich. Leider hat das Hotel keine Außenbewirtschaftungsmöglichkeit; diese hätten wir bei……

“A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town.
