Cozy studio, walking trails, beach, lake view

Lake view, cozy studio suite in the bright walkout basement of my home. Small town charm, minutes away from walking and bike trails. Accommodates up to 4 people, full queen-size bed, and pull-out queen sofa bed. 5-minute drive to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Brand new suite with a dry bar: toaster oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, bar sink, and an assortment of cups, glasses, plates, and cutlery. For your comfort, there is an in-suite fireplace, TV, stereo, and wifi. Outside in the common area is a fire pit, and deck. Host is on site .

. The comfy bed was a pleasant surprise as we were expecting a futon which was advertised in the ad at the time of booking. Very clean with nice towels and bedding. The space worked well for our needs and would certainly recommend and or consider staying again.

Sylvan Lake Vacation
We enjoyed the perfect little place for a relaxing week off. It is in a quiet area only minutes away from the beach. Very clean and comfortable, it has all of the amenities one could ask for. A nice stereo with turntable. A kitchenette stocked with coffee and tea ready to use. Comfortable furniture and a nice bathroom. We loved our stay and will do it again in the future.

I very much liked everything about it. The studio was beautifully decorated and it was stocked with all you needed. Definitely would and will recommend to people. I will also definitely be back.

Perfect for an over night stay . I have a 12 lb dog that stayed with my spouse and I. Your pet does share the backyard with the owners dog(s). Also my dog would hear the dog barking upstairs and would want to go up the stairs . So a gate at the bottom of the stairs could be added. I used the recycle bin and garbage can. Besides that the stay was very comfortable and in a great neighborhood.

There was not a proper bed ..
Bed was a pull ou couch bed with bars of metal across the back and tilted funny. Terrible sleep. One night we were greeted by two backing dog’s coming into the only entry. If you have to stay there just put the mattress on the floor it is better

Clean, modern, close to beautiful green space
The space is beautifully decorated, nice and clean, and super close to gorgeous walking trails/disc golf. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is the pull out couch could be a little more comfortable. Other than that, it is perfect!

This studio stay was just what I was looking for -- a place for me to leave my valuables as I went to the beach. I loved that it is very new and neat and tidy. Also that I could make coffee and warm up meals. It is still easy to get to the beach even though it is on the edge of town. The latter makes is super easy for arrival and departure. The hosts were available for guidance, if needed. I will certainly consider rebooking next year.

Good all around experience
Everything was great. Doris kept the kitchen well stocked with coffee, sugar, and tea which we appreciated. No complaints about anything really. There is no range so don’t expect to be able to cook much but there is a microwave, toaster, and toaster oven so it’s not a big deal

Gave up due to smoke - not issue with property. Very clean and pleasant property. It is a pull-out couch, so that is not the most comfortable... really the only concern (and my age)

Very clean, tidy and modern walkout accommodation. Our only issue was with the entrance way - the icy stairs without a handrail (and latch gate) made getting in and out a challenge. The host salted and sanded for us, but weather wasn't really cooperating! Otherwise, very lovely and well appointed. Easy parking and wonderful location for walking.

Comfortable private suite in Sylvan Lake
Doris was a great host! We were so glad to find a place that allowed us to bring our 2 small dogs. The bed was fairly decent for a hide-a-bed. The suite has modern decor with everything you'd need for a short getaway.
