“Nice property. A couple of minor maintenance issues: blind slats in main room don’t rotate. Bathroom sink partly blocked. Main issue however was Deb and Steve seem over busy. I called and emailed prior to arrival to confirm booking, time etc. as this is a remote area. The phone was off, no response to email. As it turned out, others had mistakenly checked into my room, after speaking to Deb on the way in. She didn’t pick up that they were the wrong people arriving a day early. I know they get a……

“The property is ideally located a short distance to Quorn. Hamish and Belinda, the owners were delightful to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. The single bedroom accommodation we chose was beautifully maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and it wanted for nothing. A wonderful location which we highly recommend. ”

“I have stayed there 2 times before the room was fined dirty cups in the cupboard there were seeds from a lemon or orange on the bench so hadn't been cleaned very well the shower curtains need replacing bed was comfortable the TV didnt work at all and no internet connection available ”

“The room in this old hotel was as described, clean and comfortable enough. Our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed having the spillover space of the common room for breakfast and games (& we happened to have it to ourselves). The pub meal was good, and we didn’t mind the reasonable evening noise from the pub. The Wilmington Hotel met our expectations.”
