As a finishing point on the tour de Georgia it rises 4,784 feet and is the tallest mountain in Georgia. The final leg of this mountain is a 3 mile road, or hiking trail, that takes you the final 1,800 feet to the summit, often times called the wall because of how steep the road is. The view from the top of Brasstown is spectacular. On a good day you can see Atlanta's skyline, about 80 miles away.
