A church has stood on the grounds of the Basilica of the Annunciation since the 5th century. Prior to this, common belief is that it was the home of Mary and Joseph.

As its name suggests, Quiet Beach is a place of tranquility and refuge from the hubbub of the busy Haifa city center. The beach’s protected bay generally has calm water that resembles a swimming pool, making it ideal for families with young children.
