"A great place to stay. Apartments are really large. Pool facilities fabulous. Staff have lots of information on activities to do in the area as well."

"Our family stayed at Silkari Lagoons in Port Douglas recently and overall had a very enjoyable time. The setting is surrounded by lush gardens, lagoon-style pools (six of them), and relaxing BBQ areas make it feels like a tropical resort. The room was spacious, we had a dual key 3 bedroom, it was well‑equipped with a kitchenette and laundry facilities, which was really handy. The staff were warm and helpful, especially with tour suggestions and local info. Cleanliness was good; common areas were well-maintained. There are a few things potential guests should be aware of: some of the swim‑out or swim‑in rooms may end up in shadow depending on the orientation, which can affect sun exposure at the pool or balcony. Also, the distance from the main shops and restaurants means having a car helps, or you’ll rely on transport."

"Nice apartment with everything we needed. Good pool for the kids to play in. Restaurant was ok but good value. Pool needs more pool towels as they run out quick"

"Great spot, with really nice pool. Also has a cute pond with barramundi in it. Room was nice and big, fridge worked well. Super convenient location to get into town and also visit the surrounds. On the older side but that made the price very good. We managed to avoid the timeshare/club sales pitch and thry didnt hound us like some people mention, just say no you are busy "

"Perfect place for our family holiday in Port Douglas. The property is beautifully presented and had everything we needed as a family travelling with teens and younger children. Would not hesitate to recommend Chez Brolga as a base for exploring North Queensland. "
