"This is a tough review to write. A mix of good and bad. We didn't get off to a great start. We and 2 other couples arrived by ferry. walked to the property, and then waited about 40 mins to check in and weren't offered air conditioned room or a cold drink while we waited. the owner had something else (private) he needed to do, and it didn't occur to him to leave keys or instructions for us.
Once we eventually checked in, he tried hard to be helpful. One of the reasons we booked was...

"Very nice apartments, very clean, kitchen is good and ok equipped. Very good pan for frying and a big knife for watermelon etc. the restaurant is also nice. The apartment is super quiet and has everything you need, just five minutes to the best
beach on Tilos. And this is definitely the best choice of the two hotels by that
beach. There is another one but that one is quit run down… so we absolutely recommend staying here, the people are friendly and the area is absolutely beautiful. "

"Very nice brand new hotel. The staff was very helpful and flexible and acommodated our room requests to make it a great stay. The location with the small square in front was excellent and very close to the port and
beach. Breakfast was really good with Maria and Nikos serving something different and tasty every morning and making special meals for our children. "

"Fantastische Lage mit großer möblierter Terrasse direkt an der Strandpromenade. Nebenan liegt eine nette Taverne, die auf die Terrasse liefert. Liegestühle mit gemütlichen Polster und Sonnenschirme am Strand sind inklusive und werden nur mit App. im ersten Stock geteilt. Also alles da für einen entspannten Urlaub auf einer tollen Insel. Host Pantelis ist sehr nett und wartete am Haus auf uns; die Kommunikation im Vorfeld hatte aber nicht funktioniert. Im Ergebnis aber kein Problem. "

"We were in an annexe- Olympus Studios. Quiet, very clean, everything in working order and very central. The beds were comfortable. Andreas met us at the boat having emailed in advance to check our arrival time. He was very helpful and friendly.
I had not checked the number of steps involved in accessing our apartment ( 24) which I found a lot in the heat. A lesson for next year!"
