“We truly enjoyed our stay at Serenity Point. The area lives up to it's name. It was quiet, peaceful, and a friendly neighbor. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. “The property is beautifully kept, rooms are spotless, and it is advertised as it truly is. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. I appreciated there was always hot coffee and hot water provided in the lobby along with creamers and hot cocoa mix for anyone staying there. There is even a mini market available in the lobby. “The cabin was spotlessly clean. Much better than staying at a hotel. We were in town for our Marine's graduation. We could all sit in the screened in porch or living room and relax and chat. The views from the dock were nice and you always saw something interesting. Lots of restaurants ten minutes away. There were four of us plus our Marine who lived five minutes away. We enjoyed our stay.”

“We had a great stay! It was nice to be close to the beach, although, everything else is a bit of a drive. Just be sure to get all of the groceries you need on the way in so you don't have to run back and forth to the store. Food Lion is about 15 min drive and Walmart a little further. They do have a nicely stocked kitchen and the neighborhood is peaceful there at the end of the island, which makes up for the fact that restaurants are a bit limited nearby, too.
