Die Lage ist gut! Man bekommt die Schönheit der Abruzzen zu sehen und ist ebenso schnell in den Bergen, wie am Meer. Die Vermieter sind super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.”

“Es war einfach traumhaft, die Wohnung, die Aussicht, die Ruhe, der Pool, die Gastgeber….Die Casa della Zia liegt sehr abgelegen, aber es gibt einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen in der Nähe mit allem, was man braucht. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, vor allen Dingen die Abende auf der Terrasse. Wenn wir nochmal in die Abruzzen fahren, dann auf jeden Fall zu Peter und Julie.”

“We would highly recommend this villa. We were a large family group of 23 and the villa and cottage had everything we could have wanted. The grounds and pool are well maintained and the view from the villa is stunning. Citta’ Sant’Angelo is a delightful hilltop town only a short distance away by car but some of our party did walk to the town. Piero and Letizia were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome.”

“This is great spot if you want to get away from everything for a while. Contact with Mila was superb, the directions to the property made it very easy to find. The villa was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and extremely comfortable with panoramic views of the mountains. It's very quiet and easy to relax there. The local towns are a short drive away making it easy to get out and see something, eat out or just to grab some supplies.”

Die alten Stadtkerne sind in ihrer Mittelalteranmutung schön, aber sehr verlassen. Die Strände, die wir gesehen haben, sehr vom Hochtourismus geprägt. Muss man mögen. Landschaftlich von schön bis, naja, nicht so schön. Fazit - wer sich im Anwesen entspannen möchte, findet hier das Richtige. Unternehmungen sollten vorher gut geplant sein.”

“Off the main tourist beat in a quiet little village. Easy access to many wonderful places but only if you have a car. The village itself is very quiet with just a few facilities - bar, small food store, pharmacy - but only a 15min drive to the large town of Sulmona which has all you need and a great market on Wednesday and Saturdays. The house is comfortable, with a couple of lovely outdoor areas for the warmer weather. Bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor accessible only by a narrow……

“We loved staying at the Serramonacesca house…such a peaceful place in the most spectacular setting. We could happily spend our time on the back terrace overlooking the glorious countryside; and we made our way up the circular staircase every night for appetizers and then dinner, enveloped by the sunset and then watching the lights of Manopello go on, one by one. But there was so much else to do, within easy reach of the house, that we loved this too; and Valerie went above and beyond as a host,……

Our trip was special as it was our first family trip visiting Abruzzo in 15 years to visit my father’s elderly relative. “Wir waren eine größere Gruppe von Wanderbegeisterten und wollten den Parco Nazionale della Majella erkunden. Dafür war dieses sehr geräumige Ferienhaus ideal. Eine große und gut ausgestattete Wohnküche, zwei Wohnzimmer, eine schöne Terrasse sowie die vier Badezimmer haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir selbst zu neunt noch bequem im Haus unterkommen konnten. Der Blick von der Terrasse: spektakulär! Das Haus ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für viele atemberaubende Wanderungen im Nationalpark. Auch das……

There’s so much to do and see between the Gran Sasso mountains and the bellissima mare. Andrea was a great host. We loved our stay there.”
