"The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The property itself holds lots of history, we stayed for one night in the luxury suite which was very spacious and clean. There are a few restaurants to choose from in this quaint town. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. "

"There was no A/C. You leave your windows open. After a busy day of walking, we sleep very well on the comfortable bed with the cooling night breeze. Mid-June. Clean, simple, adequate. We at a simple breakfast both mornings in the restaurant downstairs."

"When we arrived, m found our room, we were amazed at how large it was. Was. We were close to everything we wanted to do, and it was a great place to stay. At checkout we asked about getting a taxi, and we're told that taxis were nearly non-existent after covid. This is 2025. The guy running the front desk took us in his personal car down to the train station. It was great service"

"I booked this property but it was my adult grandchild and boyfriend who actually stayed so I have consulted them for the references. They were more than pleased with everything about their stay and both they and I found the host both charming and helpful in every possible way. They genuinely loved their stay. I visited the house to collect the keys as they were arriving very late and I have to say that it is a lovely place both inside and out. Absolutely top marks in every way. "With grandparents, parents and children, including one with severe autism, this was an ideal place for our holiday. The property was stunning, the setting beautiful and the pool inviting. Plenty of space for everyone and a lovely secure garden area. The layout of the bedrooms (doubles/singles) wasn’t quite as listed, but we were able to adapt easily enough. Great to find a holiday location that is so welcoming to the disabled community. The play barn was a huge hit with the children and they enjoyed making friends with other guests, despite the language barrier! Kitchen was well equipped and the huge dining table was super for family meals."
