“Our first time at this property, it was easy to find, and a pleasant modern-looking hotel. Nice welcome from the male receptionist and quickly shown to our room, which smelled fresh, looked clean and had brilliant white bedding. Comfortable bed, The hotel has an excellent restaurant and we enjoyed 3 delicious food courses. Cannot fault this hotel, for price or comfort. Excellent American hot breakfast. Highly recommended ”

“Believe the website said bar and restaurant but the place had neither. Very nice property but well above and away from the town area and so walking to find dinner was very inconvenient. Nice place but would not stay again due to being sort of stranded without food for dinner.”

Evening dinners were in the very intimate restaurants of chef Jean-Paul Tossens, who along with his wife and daughter own and manage the 12 room luxury appointed hotel. The repurposed former monastery has an adjacent village church dating to its start of construction in the 11th century. Seeing it’s simplistic beauty is worth the trip alone.
