In a fantastic location and in the middle of the mountains of the Maramures, this holiday paradise with a living / dining room, a bathroom (shower & toilet) and bedroom in the converted roof with another small bathroom with toilet offers all the comfort you would expect from a vacation in the Bergen can only wish for.
The view over the wine valley to the mountains of the Rodna Mountains is unforgettable, which you can enjoy from the spacious terrace. If you relax by a beautiful campfire in the evening and watch the stars, you won't want to leave ...
The house is lovingly furnished with many traditional furnishings. In this secluded location, you enjoy all the comfort associated with electricity. Cell phone reception is also not a problem.
In the immediate vicinity you will find mushrooms, berries and herbs and will come across mineral water sources during extended hikes. The wine valley is famous for the good quality of the springs. The quiet location in the middle of a centuries-old cultural landscape with flower-rich hay meadows will enable you to observe and eavesdrop on the intact wildlife that surrounds you on long evenings that are mild on the terrace. A stay in this refuge will inspire and remain unforgettable.
The holiday home offers enough space for a family with one or two children. Three adults can spend their holidays very comfortably in this house.
Please note that the way to the house can only be driven by a four-wheel drive vehicle. However, we offer our guests arriving by normal car a transfer of luggage and a secure parking space for the vehicle about 10 minutes from the cloud house.

What an excellent choice we made…

Staying at the Wolkenhaus. Superb location in the lower mountains, quiet yet amidst friendly locals and shepards, comfortable yet eco-friendly. The house itself is a dream: modern comfort in a traditional building. With a view to die for. For a relaxing holiday in rural Romania - look no further - the Wolkenhaus will bring you everything you need. Contact Björn Reinhardt, the frienly and kind owner. He knows all there is to know about the history and the people of Maramures. You will not be disappointed! Five stars for authenticity, comfort and purity.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche im Wolkenhaus verbracht, vor Ort ist es wirklich noch schöner als im Inserat! wir waren mit unseren Töchtern (14, 16) da, und obwohl es zu viert etwas eng wird, waren wir alle begeistert von diesem magischen Ort! Ruhe, Stille, der weite Blick, ein unbeschreiblich schöner Sternenhimmel - Sternschnuppen!! -, erste Steinpilze, Erkundungsgänge ums Haus und durchs Tal und eine Wanderung nach Obcina haben die Woche wie im Flug vergehen lassen. Es war so schön, dass wir zwischendrin gar nicht ins Tal hinabfuhren (obwohl es auch da viel zu erleben gäbe). Björn ist ein toller, sehr zuverlässiger und zugewandter Gastgeber, der einem viel über die Menschen und Gegend erzählen kann und sofort unterstützt, wenn man Hilfe sucht. Vielen lieben Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit in eurem Wolkenhaus, lieber Björn!!!

Sehr idyllisch gelegen, ich kann mich allen vorherigen Bewertungen nur anschließen. Die Lage des Hauses ist ein Traum. Man kann einfach nur auf der Veranda sitzen und den Ausblick genießen oder eine schöne Wanderung machen. Der Vermieter Björn ist super nett, humorvoll und bei Fragen jederzeit ansprechbar. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Ideal für Menschen, die Ruhe und Natur mögen.

Traumhaft

Wir waren 2 Wochen im Wolkenhaus und haben jeden einzelnen Tag genossen. Es wird da oben in der Natur zu keiner Zeit langweilig. Selbst unser 11 jähriger Sohn hat nicht einmal seinen Laptop gebraucht, zu vielfältig waren die Eindrücke. Björn war stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit,

Ein Haus unter den Wolken

Wir verbrachten einige wundervolle Tage in diesem stilvoll erbauten und eingerichteten Kleinod in den Bergen der Maramures. Der perfekte Platz, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Dank der gut ausgestatteten Küche konnten wir uns einige Köstlichkeiten zaubern und mussten das kleine Paradies nur selten zum einkaufen verlassen. Genau richtig!

Wir haben die Zeit im Wolkenhaus sehr genossen. Es ist ein wundervoller Ort, mitten in der Natur und trotzdem nicht ganz weit weg von der Zivilisation. Das Haus besitzt Charme und alles Nötige für einen entspannenden Aufenthalt. Wer Ruhe und Frieden finden möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Björn und Florentina sind großartige Gastgeber. Sie haben sich herzlich um uns gekümmert. Wir haben uns von Beginn an wie bei Freunden zu Hause gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschöne Lage

Urlaub in einer Wunderschönen, naturbelassenen Gegend wo ein allrad Auto eigentlich pflicht ist. Wir hatten leider keins , doch Björn, der Vermieter hat uns liebend gern geholfen die Köffer ans Haus zubekommen. Ein wirklich sehr netter und liebenswert Mensch. Im Wolkenhaus findet mal seine innere Mitte wieder. Man begreift das man mit so wenig, doch so entspannt leben kann... ein Haus zum wirklich entspannen und die Natur zu genießen.

Ruhe und Entspannung in den Bergen

Um das Objekt zu erreichen, benötigt man einen 4-Radantrieb. Wichtig ist ansonsten, dass man alle Lebensmittel und Getränke für den Aufenthalt mitbringt. Die Lage und die Ruhe , sowie der Blick sind grandios. Wir kommen wieder.

Wildes Rumänien - mittendrin

Wir waren für zehn Tage im Wolkenhaus und waren mittendrin: sanfte Hügel mit wilder Natur, das Vorbeiziehen von Schafherden, der Wind, die Ruhe. Es war ein traumhaft schöner Sommerurlaub in einer liebevoll eingerichteten Unterkunft. Das Wolkenhaus ist ein Idyll! Die Kommunikation mit Gastgeber Björn war ausgezeichnet und absolut zuverlässig. Das Haus entsprach genau unseren Wünschen und ist für alle sehr zu empfehlen, die absolute Ruhe und Natur genießen wollen. Der Vermieter ist ein Profi und weiß, was Gäste sich wünschen und wie man den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht.

Wunderschönes Häuschen mit genialer Aussicht.

Traumhafte Lage, fast am Ende der Welt 😉, mit hohem Entspannungsfaktor. Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Perfekte Veranda zum Verweilen und um die schöne Aussicht zu genießen. Wanderungen auf die umliegenden Berge möglich aber meist mit einem kleinen Abenteuer verbunden, da es keinerlei Wegzeichen und manchmal auch keinen Weg mehr gibt. Also genau das richtige für uns Pfadfinder. Auch die Betreuung durch den Vermieter war hervorragend. Einzig die Zufahrtsstraße ist etwas herausfordernd. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt aber sehr genossen und konnten super entspannen können. Gerne würden wir wieder einmal im Wolkenhaus Urlaub machen.

Fantastic location in Maramures

We loved our stay at the Cloud House. The location is unbeatable - the views from the house are beautiful - and the house is extremely comfortable with all the facilities you could need. The only minor down side is that the house it at least 2km up an unpaved road which was a bit difficult with our hire car.

Charmant huis op prachtige plek

Vijf dagen zijn we hier geweest. Rust , natuur en prachtig uitzicht. alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in deze woning. Echt een aanrader. Gaan we nog een keer doen.

Toller Ausblick in die Berge. Wer Ruhe sucht ist dort genau richtig

Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist einfach aber ausreichend eingerichtet. Ist bei längerem Aufenthalt nur für 2 Personen zu empfehlen. Ein kleiner Hinweis, das Haus ist nur mit einem hochbeinigen Offroadfahrzeug zu erreichen. Der Vermieter hilft jedoch beim Gepäcktransport, wenn man das Auto bei ihm im Tal abstellt. Von dort sind es ca. 3km.

Wir haben uns superwohl gefühlt, mitten in der Natur zwischen Hirten, Schafen, Holzhäusern, Kühen...

Das Wolkenhaus war für uns ein traumhafter Ort, ein Rückzugsort mit Blick in die Weite. Wandern der Nase nach ohne Wanderwege, Lesen auf der Veranda und auf der Wiese drumherum. Was will man mehr! Das Häuschen und seine Ausstattung sind perfekt, alles da, was der westeuropäische Mensch so für sein Wohlbefinden braucht. Die Gemütlichkeit im Haus haben wir dank des sommerlichen Wetters kaum ausgenutzt. Die Abgeschiedenheit und die etwas abenteuerliche Straße dort hin verlangen gute Organisation was das Einkaufen betrifft. Das macht ein bißchen Abenteuergefühl, was es Dank des perfekten Hauses eigentlich gar nicht ist. Mangels Regen waren die Wasserspeicher nicht ganz gefüllt, aber Björn hat verlässlich dafür gesorgt, daß sie nicht zur Neige gingen. Wir haben uns superwohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank Björn und Florentina!

Ganz großartige Erholung in einer Natur, wie wir sie in Österreich vor 200 Jahren auch noch hatten

Großartiger Ort. Erholung, Erholung, Erholung. Wunderschönes Panorama. Schafherden, Schäfer. Im Haus alles bereit für vollkommen entspannende Tage. Wunderbar großes Bett, in dem man gerne auch tagsüber schläft. Ganz freundlicher Gastgeber, der da ist wenn man ihn braucht, obwohl man ihn selten braucht, da ohnehin alles da ist. Die Straße ist schlecht, das Langsamfahren gehört zur Erholung dazu. Man kann von dort ist jeden Tag eine andere Route in ein anderes Seitental wählen. Wir wurden 7 Tage lang IMMER WIEDER neu von der großartigen Natur überrascht, die Menschen mit bescheidenen Mitteln für sich nutzen. Wer ein bisschen Italienisch kann, wird auch mit Menschen von dort spreche können. Wir fanden ausschließlich sehr nette Personen ! Großartiger Ort, um sich zu erholen. Wir taten es !

Schönes Haus in wunderschöner Natur mit freundlichem Vermieter

Ein guter Ort um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Ich war hier mit drei Kindern (19,16,15) und mein mittlerer Sohn kam nach Hause mit der Erkenntnis, dass er zu viel Zeit am Computer verbringt. Ideal für Lesen, Spielen, Wandern. Wahrscheinlich nicht für jeden.

Die Anfahrt verlangt die ganze Auferksamkeit wird aber mit der fantastischen Lage des Ferienhauses belohnt. Immer wieder. 😊
